Review Week!

This week we will review:

How to write and recognize the letters T, L, F and E.
How to write and recognize the numbers 0, 1 and 2.
How to recognize and sort circles, squares, triangles and ovals.
Our nursery rhymes: This Little Piggy, Little Jack Horner and Pease Porridge Hot
Our memory verses: " Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation." -2 Corinthians 5:17, "Love the Lord your God." -Matthew 22: 37-38 and " For the wages of sin, is death, but the gift of God is eternal life." -Romans 6:23
We will read the stories: "My Brother Martin", "Ten on the Sled" and "The Rainbow Fish"

If you did not bring in a child's size hanger last week, please do so this week so your child can finish his/her project! Thank you!

Parent Reminders:
*You received a pre-registration form for your child for Pre-K next year in your child's HEART binder on Thursday. We open up registration for HFYH families first, so you have until February 27thto register your child for next year. On February 27h, we open up registration to the public. At that time if you have not registered  your child, it will be a first come first serve basis. If you would like to register your child for next year, fill out the registration form, make out the $50 check to HFYH and turn it in by the 27th! :)
*Scholastic Book Orders are due January 31st!
*Valentine's Day parties are on Thursday, February 14th at 10:30 in the Gym. School will be HALF DAY that day! If your child is full day, they will be dismissed after the party! Please either come to the party or make arrangements to pick up your child at 11:30!
*We will be having an Open House on February 27th and 28th from 9:00am-noon. You are more than welcome to come see a pre-K class in action for next year! Or if you have a younger child, you are more than welcome to come and see a Jumpstart (2-3 year old) class in action as well! Also, if you know someone who might be interested in our school, please send them on those two days to check us out!
