This week we will learn:
How to write and recognize the letter I.
How to recognize and sort the color yellow.
Our nursery rhyme: Itsy Bitsy Spider
Our memory verse: "I am the way, the truth and the life." -John 14:6
We will read the stories: "There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves", "Yes We Can" and "When the Leaf Blew In".
We will do some fun crafts to go along with our letter and nursery rhyme of the week.
We will begin discussing Day 4 of Creation. On Day 4, God made the sun, moon and stars.
Our Star Student of the week is: Ivy Wauetlet for the morning and afternoon classes. Don't forget a show and tell item each day!
*November tuition is now due! Please make checks to HFYH!
*For our mission moment for the month of November we are collecting Yams to be put in Thanksgiving baskets to give out to families in need this holiday season. Please bring in your can of Yams now through November 15th! The class that brings in the most cans wins a prize!
*We will be on complete lock down on Tuesday, November 6th because of the voting being in the gym of the school. We normally lock all doors at 8:45 anyways, but to insure even more safety we are locking all doors including classroom doors all day. If you need to pick up your child, please follow regular guidelines and buzz the office at the main school doors and they will let you in to get your child.
*Parent/Teacher conference sign-ups will be going home tomorrow. Please choose your time and I will get the paper back to you as soon as possible. Parent/Teacher conferences are Monday, November 19th.
Check back to see what great things are happening inside of our classroom!
