This week we will learn how to:
Write and recognize the letter E.
Our nursery rhyme: Pease Porridge Hot
Our memory verse: "Each one should use whatever gift they have received to serve others." -1 Peter 4:10
We will read the stories:When Autumn Comes, Leaves and Acorns Everywhere.
We will also be doing some crafts to go along with our letter and nursery rhyme of the week.
We will be working with our new sensory bins as well!
Our Star Student of the week is: Abigail Stilwell for the morning and Kylie Weiss for the afternoon!
Don't forget a show and tell item each day!
*Please bring in a ornament that your child likes to put on our classroom Christmas tree. Ornaments will be returned after Christmas!
*Field Trip to sing at the Protestant Nursing home is December 13th. Permission slips are due December 11th.
*Our mission moment for the month of December is for the Protestant Nursing Home. One of the things that they go through the most is the little packs of Kleenex, so we are asking each child to bring in a pack of Kleenex to hand out to the residents at our field trip.
*Just a reminder of our snow policy: HFYH follows EVSC school delays and cancellations. If EVSC is on a one hour delay, HFYH will also run on a one hour delay. If EVSC is on a two hour delay ALL morning classes are cancelled. Afternoon and full day students can arrive at 11:45. If EVSC cancels school, HFYH will be closed as well!
It's going to be a great week!
