Week of 4/23

This week we will be learning:

How to write and recognize the letter Y.
How to write and recognize the number 12.
Our nursery rhyme: London Bridge
Our memory verse: Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
We will read the stories: The Listening Walk and Snug as a Bug.
We will be doing some fun crafts to go along with our letter of the week.
We will be doing some fun sorting games.
We will be working with yo-yo's.
We will be going to the zoo on Thursday for a field trip!

Parent Reminders for the Zoo Field Trip on Thursday.
*Zoo Field Trip permission slips and money is due April 25th.
*No backpacks on Thursday because of the field trip.
*If your child has a HFYH shirt, please have them wear it on Thursday.
*If your child is NOT going on the field trip, please do not send them to school on Thursday as all staff will be attending the field trip.
*Please make sure your child has a big breakfast as we will not be having a snack because of the field trip.
*We will leave at 8:30am, please DO NOT be late to school!
*If you wish to join us at the zoo, you may follow the bus down there or you can meet us down there inside the zoo by the fountain.
